Maritime Surveillance / Search & Rescue
There are a number of reasons that one would consider using a boat for surveillance. In fact, we had a case in which we had to prove that a client’s ex-wife was cohabitating with another man. In doing so, we were able to document a boat trip that she went on with her boyfriend at the same time the client was paying $12,000 a month in alimony.
In addition to other evidence, the case went to trial and the judge granted the client’s petition for modification. He is now saving $150,000 a year in alimony.
The client spent a total of $14,000 over 4 months so that was clearly a good investment!
Do you have a loved one lost at sea?
In addition to the Coast Guard, the more boats you have in a search and rescue mission, the better chance you have of finding or rescuing your loved one, hopefully while they’re still alive. After all, the Pacific Ocean is a very vast body of water, especially when someone is missing at sea.
